First guitar ever modified; the one that started it all. It began life as an Indonesian-made sunburst Squier with an alder body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard (2005). I'd bought it shortly after moving to the US, just to have something to play, but I never bonded with the guitar.
That eventually set me on a quest to try and make it a better playing instrument, which ended up being a whole hobby onto itself. This very page is part of that.
The guitar is named after my wife's middle name, since she was the whole reason I moved, and ended up with this guitar in the first place. I upgraded it with 57/62 Fender pickups, CFS pots and an orange cap, and pieced together a custom bridge using a mix of Fender and Squier parts.
Originally painted coral with a purple decal. This has since been stripped back.
Currently being re-finished with a Galaxy theme.
