I was so happy with my previous custom orders from Bian Xuebin, so I placed a special order: Surprise me! With one stipulation: I wanted a flamed cap on the guitar - no veneers.
What I got was an ash body Thinline with a 1/2" maple cap, and a maple neck with rosewood fretboard.
I put in some Tone Rider pickups, and a set of Kluson locking tuners.
It was painted in a tobacco burst, using an air brush. All the colors were mixed by hand, using pigments, water and acrylic medium. Once dry, the guitar was finished with nitrocellulose lacquer.
